After a relatively
successful year, the team at Grove
expanded their motorsport activities
to include the Aussie Racing Cars.
GJR continued its involvement with
the utes, supporting amongst others
Adam Bressington, Matt Moorehead,
Damian White and it also marked
the first time Grant Johnson drove
in the famous Grove colors. Greg
however concentrated on the Aussie
Car series and along with Phil Foster,
achieved some great results and
learned A LOT about race craft.
During this time, Grove Juice racing
also continued its support for local
QLD Motorsport, realising that while
all the big name series command
the most attention, drivers need
to get experience somewhere, so
Grove supported local Saloon cars,
Formula Vee, Speedway cars and some
karters.

2006 marked
a consolidation of Grove Juice
Racing activities, and whilst
the local support continued,
Greg and the team decided to
bring Grant Johnson on full
time, and Greg stepped behind
the wheel of the #44 falcon
for the first time. Some sensational
results both on the track and
commercially has now lead the
Grove Juice Racing Team to continue
in 2007 with both Grant and
Greg in the Yokohama V8 Ute
racing Series and also continuing
to support local drivers in
Saloon cars. |
