MEDIA RELEASE | Groceries turn gourmet with new Grove Juice flavours
October 31 2011 - The flavour visionaries at Grove Juice have dreamed up two new ‘naturally different’ 100% Australian-grown fruit juice flavours to add to their cult-favourite ‘Juice of’ range, available now in Coles supermarkets nationally.
Grove Juice’s marketing manager, Megan Willis, said new ‘Juice of Apple, Mandarin and Passionfruit’ and ‘Juice of Apple, Mandarin, Strawberry and Lime’ would be the most expertly blended, gourmet-style Australian-grown juice flavours to ever be commercially available in a mainstream supermarket.
“We explored Australia to discover home grown fruits that we could blend into distinctive, fresh flavours and we created some exciting flavour combinations - like no other on the market,” Megan said.
“We wanted to take our brand promise of “naturally different” to a new level and develop some really unusually delicious new blends to complement our existing premium ‘Juice of’ range including Juice of Orange, Juice of Mandarin and Juice of Mandarin & Mango.”
On ‘Juice of Apple, Mandarin and Passionfruit:’
“The purple variety of Australian passionfruits are sweet and intense without being too acidic which makes for a perfect fruit flavour to add into juice. Passionfruit juice blends particularly well with sweet apple and mandarin and we can proudly attest to finding the perfect level of passionfruit without the need for any artificial flavour, like most other juices which contain passionfruit,” Megan said.
On ‘Juice of Apple, Mandarin, Strawberry and Lime:’
“This is a truly unique blend. Our product is a blend of fresh apple and mandarin juice combined with a generous percentage of lovely aromatic Australian strawberry puree, topped off with fresh lime which adds to the aroma and gives the product a nice zing,” she said.
