Our juice isn’t cooked

We're the only ones who don't

Pastuerisation was discovered by French chemist Louis Pastuer in 1862.  But Louis’ process of essentially cooking the juice seriously impairs the delicate natural flavour and greatly reduces the valuable nutrients and vitamin content.

So we chill squeeze instead, and we’re the only ones who do it.  All we do is pick fresh Australian oranges, chill them, then squeeze their juice into a bottle.  If only Louis had invented the fridge instead.

We sure do put quality and freshness first!  So we also don’t use aseptic juice.  Aseptic juice means the juice is heated anywhere up to 95 degrees to extend the shelf life, then packed into bags or containers and cold stored for months, if not years.  This process removes most of the nutrients found in orange juice, reduces the taste and changes its colour.  Sounds wrong... well it is!  It greatly compromises the quality of juice.

So we promise to pick, chill and squeeze straight into our white bottle!  And that's a guarantee.
